Rain washes out third CL T20 game

Durban:  In what was the third game to be washed out by the rain, the Group A fixture between the Auckland Aces and the Delhi Daredevils was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Kingsmead on Friday.

Both teams shared two points each. While Delhi Daredevils had won their solitary outing against the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Auckland Aces had won their first match against the same team, while losing their second match to the Nashua Titans.

Saturday’s matches will see the Highveld Lions taking on Yorkshire in the first match, followed by the Chennai Super Kings facing off with the Mumbai Indians in the evening. Both games will be played at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.
