So we bring to you some nifty little tips and tricks that will make your Twitter experience all the more enjoyable:
1. Categorized Following
We usually tend to hunt down celebs, musicians or a bunch of people to fall under the same category like Politics & Government, Media & Journalists, Sports, Bollywood, etc. But all thanks to the ‘Browse Category’ facility under the #Discover tab, Twitter tends to generate lists full of people whom you may be keen on following. These generated lists are smartly created as per your prior followers and following list and displays relevant profiles for you to follow.
2. Advanced Search

Remember that one tweet your friend tweeted and you forgot to mark it as favorite? Only if you could hunt it down without going through a colossal list of tweets by him. Thankfully, Twitter offers an advanced search like none other. Capable of tweaking it to precision, you can search according to the words used, hashtags involved, people tweeting it, any other person tagged in the same tweet, the place, etc., all at the same time! A very handy feature if you’re keen on getting hold of any vital information buried deep within the realm of Twitter.
3. Create Lists

It always seems to be the case that there are a bunch of people whom you follow that tend to tweet about the same thing over and over incessantly. Either you keenly follow them or thoroughly despise their rants. To ease the pleasure/pain of having to follow them and look at their tweets, all you need to do is go to your profile, click on Lists, and then on Create List. This enables you to put a bunch of like-minded people under a single page that you can access at any given point of time and it will solely display you their tweets and pics.
4. Twitter News Feed

Twitter like Facebook is equipped with a News Feed that shows you people’s activities other than tweeting, a Lá Facebook function for Twitter. Placed right under the #Discovery tab as ‘Activities’, it shows you if anyone has favorited a certain tweet or followed somebody new. A highly useful feature, this one will allow you to follow some more people or gain insights into other people’s activities on Twitter!
5. Browser Extensions

All thanks to Twitter’s 3rd party integration, a user is capable of integrating Twitter into the browser itself and save up a tab space. There are tonnes of browser extensions available on both Google Chrome and Firefox that allow you use a small segment of the browser as a Twitter client. There’s Twitter Bird, Twitter Pulse and other great ones for Chrome while Firefox offers TwitBin, TwitterBar among others!
