Jagan Used To Attend CM Meetings?

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy claimed several times in the past that he had never interfered in the administrative affairs during his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s regime and that he had never stepped into Secretariat, leave alone influencing his father’s decisions.
However, the Central Bureau of Investigation probing his alleged illegal assets case is learnt to have gathered conclusive evidences to prove that Jagan had indeed played a key role in several policy decisions. The CBI is projecting the depositions of YSR’s personal aide Sureedu and then principal secretary Jannath Hussain in this regard.
Both Sureedu and Jannath are understood to have told the CBI authorities that Jagan used to come to the conference hall through backdoor and take part in the official meetings on key policy decisions, particularly with regard to granting benefits to various companies. Even Jagan’s personal auditor V Vijay Sai Reddy and close aide Sunil Reddy used to attend the official meetings, apart from of course YSR’s advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao. Besides, several industrialists used to meet the chief minister through rear entry, Jannath is learnt to have told the CBI.
One has to wait and see whether these depositions have any legal sanctity in the court of law.
